The UnitedHealthcare Academy at Butler University is an innovative experiential partnership, creating a talent pathway for driven students looking to jumpstart their careers in health insurance sales with UnitedHealthcare, the nation’s largest health insurance company.

Through this multi-year program, you’ll develop a hybrid skillset across communications, business administration, risk management, professional sales, and sales management through your work-and-apply learning experiences with UnitedHealthcare. While in the Academy, you will work part-time and complete internships with UnitedHealthcare, earning a competitive living wage throughout the program.

And, when you graduate from Butler, you’ll have a degree in Marketing with a focus in Risk Management and Insurance, preparing you for a wide range of careers with UnitedHealthcare and beyond.
